Dean, Honors College
Zofia Burr is the founding dean of George Mason's Honors College. She is a poet and has researched African American literature and the reception of modern American poetry.

Jan Allbeck
Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science; Associate Dean, Honors College

Allbeck is an associate dean in the Honors College. She has explored many aspects of computer graphics but is most drawn to research at the crossroads of animation, artificial intelligence, and psychology in the simulation of virtual humans.
Anthony Dyer Hoefer

Associate Professor, English
Andy Hoefer is the assistant dean in the Honors College. His research in English focuses on the literature of the U.S. South.

John M. Woolsey

As the Assistant Dean of Faculty and Curriculum for George Mason University’s Honors College, Woolsey leads the college's forward-looking curricular initiatives, especially in the areas of inquiry-, service- and community-based learning.
