Celine Apenteng

Major: Conflict Analysis and Resolution
Celine was an active member of the George Mason community, devoting her time as Speaker of the Student Government. She was also a member of the Student Funding Board, working to ensure that all student organizations' needs are addressed.
“Being a University Scholar has given me the freedom to partake in anything I please. I am not bounded by student debt so I can take the risk of going out and taking different internships, jobs, and be a part of programs both on and off campus that I don’t think I would have been able to do had I not had a scholarship.”
Drake Leach

Major: Musical Theater
Drake served as a Peer Mentor, supporting and guiding freshman Honors College students taking Honors 110. He also participated in professional theatrical productions on and off-campus, including a performance of "She Loves Me!" at Signature Theater in VA.

Stacy Maravi
Major: Bioengineering
Stacy built community at George Mason as a Mason Ambassador and EIP Academic mentor, inspiring prospective students to Choose Mason! She also participated in undergraduate research at the Mason SciTech campus.

Elise Mertz

Major: English
Elise was a dedicated member of the Honors College community, serving as a member of the Honors College Recruitment Team. She also participated in Honors College Connects, which provides students with an opportunity to help local nonprofits.
