    George Mason University’s Honors College prepares its students to be at the forefront of the world’s challenges, shaping them into the problem solvers and peacemakers of tomorrow. Alum Alex Neuman (International Politics; Russian and Eurasian Studies, ‘20) was working under a Title 8 Fellowship with the U.S. Department of State last Summer. In this position, he relocated to Poland while studying Ukrainian. In August, Neuman sat down with the Honors Communications Team to discuss his public service career, his experience in the Honors College, and the positive change he hopes to spark amidst the growing Ukrainian conflict.

When it comes to student athletes, the Honors College’s top priority is to make sure they receive the same transformational learning experiences that all students receive, providing them the support that helps them grow as individuals, scholars, and professionals. Richard Todd Stafford, the Honors College’s Director of Communications, sat down with alum Breanna Connell (Forensic Science, ‘17), who has been playing soccer professionally in the United States and Europe since graduation to discuss her experiences in the Honors College and beyond.
